This book is a collection of Advent Letters written to family and friends every December beginning in 1967. Six letters in the series are lost. The letters begin with the positing of the birth of Jesus as the beginning of a new world order, no less than the intervention of God in human history. They end with the belief that humanity is still evolving, inexorably, toward a future which Jesus’ life and resurrection foretold, and which God is creating. As ultimate reality unfolds, it will far exceed all expectations.
