daughter insisted I get a dog to keep me company. I had decided not to get another dog since I was retired and getting older, but my
daughter took me to a pet store on a Saturday during their adoption event. I kept saying to my daughter I didn’t want to get a dog, but
before I knew it, I was holding this brown and white dog. My daughter was giving the information to finalize the adoption. I didn’t think
this was a good idea, but I had adopted this dog. My daughter took me shopping for doggie supplies. I was angry my daughter had forced
me into getting a dog.
Let me tell you, it has been the most wonderful experience. Chloe is the sweetest dog and I love her so much. She and I enjoy every day
we spend together.
Thanks to the pet store and their adoption program, Mostly Mutts—the shelter that brought Chloe and me together—and my determined
daughter. I love Chloe.
Please remember to donate to your local rescue or shelter. The need is great and much appreciated. The volunteers resucue the animals
and give their time and efforts to see that each rescue is given a second chance. Thanks to all.
Money from this book is to go toward the Animal Rescue and Mostly Mutts.
