Going through the Fire is the story of one woman’s unprecedented journey through life. Raised in Philadelphia, author Carolyn Newman found herself traveling and moving from one city to the next in a quest for happiness and stability. She eventually settled in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and daughters. Along the way, she encounters love, loss, tragedy, and triumph.

Carolyn’s story is one of passionate hope and divine growth. At a time in her life when she is feeling the path before her becoming more and more rocky, she is able to embrace her spirituality in a way that will affect her life forever. Although Carolyn is no stranger to loss, losing her father and both husbands at early ages, she is able to walk through life with optimism and courage. Against seemingly impossible odds and situations, Carolyn is able to go through the fire and expect victory.
