made possible by a Northern aristocrat’s and Southern 
gentleman’s dream of bringing the South together in a 
small North Georgia village called New Holland. These 
two men put people to work, built homes, churches, 
and a school, and provided opportunities for recreation 
and entertainment.
These are stories of a few childhood friends who shared 
tears of joy and sometimes sadness while trying to grow 
up. I hope you enjoy the ride, we sure did.
