Description

It was a crazy, wacky year for four New York City bachelors who were fast approaching their late twenties. After lucking out on a one-year sublease of a spectacular Italian-style villa in upstate Neckaneck Township, Waldo, Mendel Jr., Monte, and Ricky enter the social whirl of suburbia. Waldo Flanken, a gangly, six-foot, uncoordinated college dropout, provides countless episodes of fun and mishaps as he stumbles through life. His three villa-mates are not far behind in a madcap journey through snobbish Neckaneck society. Whether it is a party with a group of hospital student-nurses or a weekend trip to a New Jersey dude ranch, it is a nonstop adventure that will keep your laugh meter running full speed. How it all ends is both sad and fulfilling, but the action never stops until the day they move out of the villa. Neckaneck will never be the same, but neither will “The Four Schmucks on the Hill” and the women in their lives.
