Remembrances

This book of memories is for the reader.

I am an old man now, and my brain, like yours–if you have an old one–is full of memories. I wrote some of mine down.

I think it is a good bedtime book for older people to read. It may remind you of your own remembrances and those may bring some joy just before you drift off to sleep.

There is no real point to my stories. There is no mystery to solve. There are no important facts to remember. There are no incidents that will prompt you to take up some great cause.

My stories are pretty much the truth. They are not made up. I have tried to be accurate, but old memories are faulty. If you go fact-checking these, you have missed the whole point.

So, blow up your TV, put down your cell phone, take a break, and read a little story.
