Sheep to Shepherd

who you are and who you have become, you will have become

a man of whom the world is not worthy.  You will have

become a Man of Integrity and Godly character – a Shepherd.”

This book is primarily for the teen boy who wants to grow up to become a good man – especially a man of integrity and godly character.  It will serve young men in their twenties and thirties quite well, too.  As a teen boy, you should seek to read this with your dad – or your mom, if your dad is gone – or with an adult male mentor.  Why?  Because they can add their own life experiences to the topics to enrich your discussions.

This book will be useful also for those who mentor young men in their teens, twenties or thirties, as well as for Youth Counselors or Pastors.  The included study guide will help bring depth to the topic discussions. 

We discuss twelve Behaviors a young man (a Sheep) should endeavor to make his own. Among them are being disciplined, responsible,  respectful, honorable, and tough-minded.  All twelve together will motivate you to become a mature, solid man and leader (a Shepherd). 

The last chapter, “Looking Ahead,” takes an experienced look at Work, Education, Marriage, Fatherhood, and Operating in the World.  There is an Epilogue and a Suggested Reading List to close out our offerings.
