Every purchase of this book will fund a second copy to be given to a child recovering from the trauma of an abusive situation. Together, we are making recovery easier until the night-light is no longer needed. Sparks from Fireflies was created by a Girl Scout Troop #1980, who set out to serve children going through tough times by helping to make their days as regular as any of their peers. The collection of illustrated quotes is mixed with interactive coloring pages and writing prompts for the reader. Sparks from Fireflies is a “night light for the darkest nights” dedicated to the children recovering from trauma related to abuse. Initiated for the children being served by SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center of Cobb County Georgia, and a ready resource for all children.
